Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1.5 lb chicken (cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces for even cooking)

Spices

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp dried thyme

Dairy & Fats

  • 2.5 tbsp butter (preferably Kerrygold unsalted)
  • 1 medium onion (finely diced into 1/4-inch pieces)
  • 1.5 tbsp garlic (freshly minced)

Grains & Broth

  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice
  • 3 1/4 cups chicken broth (Swanson Less Sodium)

Cheese & Cream

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (freshly shredded)
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream

Herbs

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in butter until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add seasoned chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in rice, chicken broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is tender.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cook until creamy and heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan and high-quality butter.
