  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups cubed bread

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer bread cubes, cooked sausage, and cheese in the baking dish.
  • Pour egg mixture over the layers and press down slightly.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
