Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling

  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Cream butter with sugars until fluffy, then beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  • Prepare filling, spread half dough, sprinkle filling, and roll tightly.
  • Slice, place on baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with icing after baking!
