Instructions
Cook butter, heavy cream, and brown sugar over low heat until melted; stir in pecans.
Pour praline mixture into a sprayed 13x9-inch pan.
Prepare cake batter with mix, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla; pour over praline layer.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 28 minutes; flip cake onto sheet pan while warm and cool.
Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until peaks form; layer cake and whipped cream in a trifle dish.
Top with chocolate curls and toasted pecans before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, chill the assembled trifle before serving.
