Chocolate Oatmeal Smoothie

Ingredients
  

Liquid

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1 medium banana (preferably frozen) for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional) for richness
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately!

Notes

You can add more ice for a colder, thicker smoothie or adjust sweetness to taste.
