Ingredients
  

Dried ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup roasted unsalted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix coconut oil, honey, brown sugar, and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth, then remove from heat. Stir in almond and vanilla extracts.
  • Combine oats, hazelnuts, and salt in a large bowl. Pour cocoa mixture over and stir to coat.
  • Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes, stirring halfway.
  • Cool completely, then add chocolate chips and mix.
