dry ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

wet ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
  • Combine wet and dry, stir until just mixed.
  • Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  • Cook batter on a hot griddle until golden, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve warm with toppings.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, do not overmix the batter.
