  • 1 piece banana, preferably frozen
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 1 cup milk (almond, oat, coconut, soy, or dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter (optional)
  • to taste sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or pitted date) adjust to preference
  • optional spices (cinnamon, cardamom, or vanilla) for flavor
  • optional greens (spinach or kale) for added nutrition

Instructions
 

  • Peel the banana and add it to the blender.
  • Add cacao, milk, and optional nut butter and greens.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or add more milk if needed.
  • Pour into a glass and garnish with cacao nibs, banana slice, or cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Using frozen banana helps achieve a creamy texture without ice.
