Chili Garlic Shrimp Noodles

Ingredients
  

Noodles

  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles) any type
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions green onions sliced for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional for garnish

Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, cook garlic for 30 seconds.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, cook 2-3 minutes per side, then remove.
  • In the same skillet, add chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, water; simmer.
  • Add noodles, toss to coat, cook 2 minutes, then add shrimp, drizzle with sesame oil, garnish, and serve.

Notes

Adjust spice level with more or less chili garlic sauce.
