Chicken Salad with Pears & Hazelnuts

Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 2 pieces cooked chicken breasts (shredded)

Herbs

  • 2-4 fronds fresh dill
  • 3-4 sticks fresh tarragon

Dairy & Nuts

  • 10-12 oz mayo
  • 3-4 green onions green onions
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (Diamond Crystal brand)
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 large pear (Bosc recommended)
  • 3/4 cup chopped hazelnuts (roasted)

Optional Greens

  • Leafy greens (optional, for serving)

Instructions
 

  • Chop hazelnuts into rough pieces and set aside.
  • Dice the pear into small pieces and set aside.
  • Slice green onions and chop herbs finely, then combine in a bowl.
  • Mix mayo, salt, and pepper into the herbs, then add shredded chicken and diced pear. Gently stir to combine.
  • Serve over leafy greens if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, chill the salad before serving.
