Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 pound chicken fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces boneless and skinless

Vegetables

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets

Oils and Sauces

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
  • steamed rice, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare chicken by cutting into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  • Add chicken to the pan and stir-fry until cooked through, then set aside.
  • In the same pan, add remaining oil and broccoli, stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  • Return chicken to the pan, add soy and oyster sauce, and stir to coat.
  • Add cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, then serve over steamed rice.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
