Instructions
Cook the fettuccine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Season chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook in olive oil until golden, then add butter and cook through. Rest, slice, and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter with cream, add garlic, seasonings, and simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan until smooth.
Combine sauce with cooked pasta, then top with sliced chicken. Garnish as desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
