steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces

rigatoni pasta

Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)

Instructions
Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning. Sear in olive oil and 1 tbsp butter until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
Sauté garlic in remaining butter. Add heavy cream and simmer. Stir in Parmesan and optional cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and more Cajun if desired.
Combine pasta with sauce, adding reserved pasta water to thin. Fold in steak tips. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle additional Cajun seasoning or fresh herbs before serving.
