Ingredients
  

Seafood

  • 4 fillets salmon (skin on)

Condiments

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ lemon juice

Garnish

  • to taste fresh parsley (chopped) for garnish
  • to serve lemon wedges
  • to taste black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Pat salmon dry, rub with olive oil, and season with Cajun seasoning and salt.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high, sear salmon skin-side up for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, add honey, soy sauce, and garlic; simmer and squeeze in lemon juice.
  • Pour sauce over salmon, cook while spooning sauce for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley, serve with lemon wedges and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the salmon marinate in the Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking.
