Ingredients
  

Fruits

  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)

Sweeteners

  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup

Grains

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

Seeds

  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds

Liquids

  • 3 cups water or milk

Dairy

  • 1 cup greek yogurt (vanilla or blueberry yogurt)

Flavorings

  • 2-3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Seasonings

  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Place blueberries and maple syrup in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 1 minute until blueberries soften.
  • Mash lightly if desired, let cool, and store in the fridge.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well combined.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • In a mason jar, add a layer of blueberries and top with the overnight oats.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding nuts or seeds as toppings.
