Ingredients
Blackberries and Lime Mixture

Shortbread Crust

all-purpose flour

cold unsalted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch round pan.
Mix blackberries, lime juice, ½ cup sugar, and cornstarch. Let sit.
Combine flour, remaining sugar, salt, and cut in butter until crumbly.
Press half of the shortbread into the pan, add blackberry mixture, then crumble remaining over.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Chill the shortbread slightly before slicing for cleaner wedges.
