Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • Zest and juice of one lemon (divided) lemon zest and juice
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter cut into 1 inch slices
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups fresh blackberries
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  • Pulse flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and lemon zest in a food processor. Add butter, egg, and vanilla; pulse until crumbly.
  • Press half of dough into the pan; set aside remaining for topping.
  • Mix sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice; fold in blackberries. Spread over crust. Crumble remaining dough on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes until top is slightly brown. Cool before cutting.
