Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • 10 oz refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into pieces
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 5 eggs eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • cups prepared country gravy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook sausage and onion in butter until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Arrange biscuit pieces in the baking dish, then add sausage mixture.
  • Mix eggs, milk, and oregano; pour over the sausage.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and bake until golden brown and set.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, use homemade country gravy. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
