Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional, for extra heat
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through; slice into strips.
  • In a pan, combine honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes; cook until slightly thickened.
  • Add heavy cream to the sauce, then stir in cooked chicken and pasta. Mix well.
  • Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
