Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 3 green onions green onions (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 1/3 cup low sodium tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or more, to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons chili crunch
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Vegetables & Rice

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 large carrots (grated or peeled into ribbons)
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup edamame

Garnish

  • cilantro and sesame seeds cilantro and sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet with sesame oil until browned.
  • Add green onions and garlic; sauté briefly.
  • Mix tamari, chili crunch, honey, then add cornstarch mixture; simmer until thickened.
  • Assemble bowls with rice, beef, vegetables, and edamame; garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds.

Notes

Feel free to adjust honey or soy sauce for sweetness and saltiness.
