Ingredients
  

Meat

  • 1 pound Beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil, sear beef until browned, then set aside.
  • Mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and dissolve cornstarch in water to make sauce.
  • Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.
  • Sauté garlic and ginger, add sauce, thicken, then combine with beef and broccoli.

Notes

Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and tender results.
