Eggs and Dairy

  • 1 cup whole milk

Seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard (optional) optional

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese

Garnish

  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional) optional

Cooking Spray

  • Butter or nonstick spray for greasing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  • Arrange tater tots in a single, even layer in the prepared dish.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard (if using). Pour the mixture over the tater tots, bacon, and cheese layers.
  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, until eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
