Apple Toast with Honey Butter

A delicious and healthy breakfast combining sweet apples, warm spices, and creamy peanut butter on toasted bread, drizzled with honey.

  • 1 piece apple sliced
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread toasted
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • honey honey additional drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Slice the apple thinly and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a pan, add apple slices, cinnamon, ginger, and honey. Saute for 6-7 minutes until soft and browned.
  • Toast the bread slices and spread peanut butter on each.
  • Top the peanut butter with the cooked apple slices.
  • Drizzle with extra honey and sprinkle cinnamon. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, toast the bread longer or add nuts on top.
