Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Mix bread, apple, and pecans into the egg mixture.
Divide mixture into muffin cups, pressing gently. Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
Using day-old bread helps it soak up the custard better.
