Instructions
Melt butter in a skillet, add apples, cinnamon, allspice, and salt. Cook until apples soften.
Simultaneously, bring oats, water, milk, maple syrup, salt, cinnamon, and allspice to a low boil. Reduce heat.
Cook oats for 5 minutes until creamy, then stir in vanilla.
Divide oatmeal into bowls, top with cinnamon apples, pecans, and extra syrup.
Notes
Feel free to add more nuts or syrup for extra flavor.
