Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda, and salt.
Add chopped apples, egg, granulated sugar, oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Let the bread cool completely before glazing with the powdered sugar glaze for the best results.
