Main Ingredients

  • 2 steaks ahi tuna about 6 oz each, 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat tuna dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side for rare.
  • Remove tuna and add butter and garlic to skillet.
  • Stir in parsley and lemon juice, then return tuna to skillet.
  • Spoon sauce over tuna and serve immediately.
