Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Oils and seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste salt and pepper

Tortillas and toppings

  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 avocado sliced

Instructions
 

  • Rinse shrimp and toss with olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • Mix cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
  • Assemble tacos with slaw, garlic shrimp, and sliced avocado. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lime or hot sauce.
